The STARS program is looking to hire several teaching assistants for the 2019-20 academic year. There are two different job descriptions (attached) – one emphasizing Chemistry and Physics and the other Physics and Math. All positions include the standard tuition waiver and benefits.
The ideal candidates will have some background in Chemistry, Physics and Math for all posts, even if not emphasized.
We will be advertising these posts on the Graduate Funding Information Service website and the Handshake website, but we would also like to ask you to advertise directly with graduate students in your departments and any faculty members whose PhD students are looking for funding for next year.
Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and decisions and appointments made in late April. The posts will run from September to June.
